The Moon – A Giant Leap for Mankind

This didactically coloured exhibition reveals special features of the Moon, Earth’s only natural satellite, which influences life on Earth in many different ways.

Humans have engaged in Moon observation since ancient times. In this exhibition, you’ll find answers to many questions about how the Moon originated, about its composition and characteristics, and about exploration that led to the discovery of many seas and craters. You’ll also learn about space missions dedicated to Moon exploration. The author of the exhibition is Bojan Kambič, editor of Spika magazine and renowned astronomer.
