The Center for Space Technologies Herman Potočnik Noordung makes the website www.center-noordung.si accessible in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Uradni list RS, št. 30/18).

Some adjustments have been made to ensure legal accessibility requirements, such as:

  • Zoom in on text,
  • Grayscale management,
  • Appropriate color contrasts (between text and background) and changes to the contrast and background,
  • Underlined content,
  • Readable font,
  • The website does not contain flashing content and is safe to use for all groups of users for whom flash changes and flashing elements could cause reactions or attacks,
  • Allows alt text to equip images,
  • The website operates predictably.

The www.center-noordung.si website partially complies with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act due to the exceptions listed below.

The accessibility of the website www.center-noordung.si is regularly monitored and improved. However, some published content does not meet all accessibility requirements as stipulated by the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Due to the disproportionate burden, the website also contains content that does not meet all accessibility requirements in accordance with the ZDSMA:

  • Older videos are not equipped with subtitles (allowable exception according to Article 3 ZDSMA).
  • Scanned documents in pdf format (e.g. documentary museum material, older publications, tender documentation).
  • Multimedia files uploaded before the site was enabled to add an alternative description do not have one.
  • Alternative descriptions are missing for some newer multimedia content. The reason is the disproportionate personnel burden that optimization requires. Improvement processes are already underway.
