Over the past seventy years, space exploration has reached many new milestones in terms of observing the Earth, the Solar System and nearby (and deep) space through technological developments.
This didactically coloured exhibition reveals special features of the Moon, Earth’s only natural satellite, which influences life on Earth in many different ways.
You’ll get to know our Solar System in more detail at this exhibition hosted by the Slovenian Museum of Natural History. You’ll see mock-ups of meteorite casts that have fallen on Slovenian ground and learn about our Solar System’s planets and their sizes in comparison with the Sun.
Step into space and experience the unknown world of infinity. The carefully designed concept of presenting the universe approaches virtual reality without the use of special glasses.
Have a chat with the first social humanoid robot created in human shape. Vita the robot is welcoming and friendly and will talk, dance, listen and make your visit to the Center Noordung extra fun and interactive.

Enter a virtual reality that will launch you into space – to the International Space Station! Experience the perspective of an astronaut on the largest artificial satellite and go on a spacewalk.
Have you ever wondered how astronauts on the space station “trick” the equilibrium organ so they aren’t confused by weightlessness? They do this by training on the Barany chair, where you can also take a spin at the Center Noordung.
Try out this multimedia installation, a personalised innovative artistic experience built on the latest technologies. Delve into your consciousness and observe the brainwave frequencies.
