Project duration: 1. 2. 2023–31. 1. 2025
Aim and objectives
Consolid8 paves the way for the integration of social innovation actors into innovation networks across fifteen European ecosystems. Based on challenges identified in five ecosystems of varying development levels (strong innovators – Ireland; moderate innovators – Italy, Greece, Slovenia; emerging innovators – Romania), five competence-building programs were developed. These programs were implemented to meet the needs of five target groups from both social innovation and traditional innovation ecosystems.
Following the implementation of these programs, the experiences were gathered and applied in a new European accelerator, aimed at supporting an additional ten ecosystems. These were supported through a validated methodology for ecosystem development and support, developed and implemented by DEEP Ecosystems. The new programs were presented at the European Social Innovation Festival in Brașov (Romania), which aimed to connect social innovation actors with the traditional innovation ecosystem.
During the project, three crowdfunding campaigns were carried out, along with one study on alternative financing sources for social innovations at the local level. Additionally, twelve social innovation models were presented, with potential for replication and further development.
