Due to the complexity of space content, interesting interactive contents, such as VR Noordung and Electra VR, are available for children, which will further enhance their enthusiasm and knowledge of space.
In addition to the current exhibitions, the Noordung Projection is also available to adults, which in a likable manner presents the visionary idea and thinking of Herman Potočnik in the light of contemporary times.
We recommend a guided tour, which is adapted to age groups, interests, and knowledge of visitors. In individual tours, key explanations and information are added to the exhibitions, which allow each individual to find something of interest.
Regardless of whether you choose an individual or guided tour, the tour also includes visiting a gallery with an exhibition about the Sun System and an exhibition about the Moon. If the weather is favorable, the tour concludes on the roof of the Noordung Center, where a unique photo can also be taken. A walk around the building in fresh pristine air and environment will also improve your well-being.
In case you are planning daily trips, you can also buy joint tickets with Žička kartuzija (the Žiče Carthusian Monastery) or the Velenje Coal Mining Museum at the Center. We also offer advice on other attractions and providers in the narrower area Rogla–Pohorje.
In addition to visiting the Noordung Center in Vitanje, we also recommend you visit Beškovnikova Kašča (the Beškovnik’s Granary), the Brodej Ethnological Museum, and the Meglič Ecological Farm, where they offer tastings of their products.
To satisfy your hunger, you can indulge yourself in the neighboring restaurant Gostilna Kuzman and in the summer time, also at the Polenšek Tourist Farm, only 1.5 km away from the Noordung Center. Due to the high occupancy, in case of larger groups, we recommend you announce your visit.
In Vitanje, there is a possibility of accommodation in Gostilna Kuzman and the Borovnik Apartments and in the vicinity, in Terme Zreče Spa Resort, the Urška Tourist Farm, and the Distributed Hotel Konjice.
