Project Duration: November 2019–October 2020

Aim and objectives

The operation “Establishment of the Tourist Information Centre Vitanje and Landscaping of the Surrounding Area” involves a wide range of activities, including the comprehensive development of the Tourist Information Centre Vitanje (within the Center Noordung) for all age groups. The key aims are to create a new job post, promote sustainable tourism, develop green areas around the centre, and integrate TIC Vitanje into the wider offer of the Rogla-Pohorje Destination.

The establishment of TIC Vitanje resulted in a multifunctional development office with a shared reception area, contributing to improved quality of life, retention of the local population in the Municipality of Vitanje, and the attraction of visitors as part of the Rogla-Pohorje Tourist Destination. The operation also supports the growth of tourism-related entrepreneurship in the municipality and beyond, through cooperation with key stakeholders such as associations, craftsmen and craftswomen, entrepreneurs, and support institutions at the local and regional level.
