ESERO (European Space Education Resource Office) is ESA’s main educational project supporting early years, primary, and secondary school educators across Europe. It uses the theme of space and young people’s fascination with it to enhance interest and understanding in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subjects. ESERO also highlights real-life applications of space technologies and promotes awareness of the wide range of careers available in the space sector.

In collaboration with national partners, ESERO offers free, often accredited training sessions for teachers, develops and adapts classroom resources aligned with national curricula, and brings space closer to students through real data, practical applications, and role models such as scientists, engineers, and astronauts. By making STEM more relatable and accessible, ESERO helps break down the myth that science is only for geniuses, inspiring young people to see space as both a source of wonder and a part of everyday life.

The project is co-funded by the European Space Agency, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport.
